DailySeller · Catalog Image Enhancer

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 21 July 2026

Catalog Image Enhancer is a Chrome extension published by DailySeller. This policy explains what information the extension handles, why it is needed and where it goes.

Information handled by the extension

The extension handles the following information only to provide its product-image matching functionality:

When a user purchases access, Stripe collects the user's email address, billing details and payment information on Stripe-hosted pages. DailySeller receives the Stripe customer identifier, subscription status and related transaction records, but does not receive the user's full payment-card number.

When DailySeller member access is enabled, the member's name and email address may be transferred from Skool to DailySeller through Zapier so that eligibility can be created or deactivated. The automation does not send members an extension-access email. A member chooses when to enter their Skool email in the extension, and the extension sends it to DailySeller only to check active membership and return access.

How the information is used

Shopify credentials are used to request an access token from the Shopify store configured by the user. Visible product IDs are then sent to that same Shopify store to retrieve matching product or variant information. The returned information is used to display thumbnails and product previews inside Meta Ads Manager.

The licence key is sent over HTTPS to DailySeller's licence service to confirm whether the associated Stripe subscription or DailySeller membership is active. A member-entered email address is sent over HTTPS to the same service to check for an active DailySeller membership and, when eligible, return a licence key. Subscription and community-member information is used only to create, verify, manage and revoke access to Catalog Image Enhancer, provide support and maintain required transaction records.

The extension does not use this information for advertising, profiling, credit decisions or any unrelated purpose.

Catalog Image Enhancer's use and transfer of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Storage and retention

Credentials, preferences, the licence key, recent licence status and cached product results are stored locally using Chrome extension storage in the user's Chrome profile. Cached product results are retained for the user-selected cache period, which is seven days by default. Users can clear the image cache, remove the saved licence or remove their saved Shopify credentials at any time.

Access tokens are not stored in Chrome extension storage. They are retained temporarily in the extension's background process when Shopify supplies an expiry and are discarded when that process or token expires.

Stripe customer, subscription and transaction records, together with DailySeller member entitlement status, are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide access, manage subscriptions, prevent fraud, provide support and meet accounting, tax or other legal obligations. Requests concerning account data can be sent to the contact address below.

Sharing and transfers

Shopify credentials and visible product IDs are transmitted only over HTTPS to the user-configured *.myshopify.com store. Product images may be retrieved over HTTPS from Shopify's image delivery domains. Shopify credentials, product IDs, Meta Ads Manager content and cached product information are not sent to DailySeller's licence service.

The extension sends the licence key, or a DailySeller member's voluntarily entered Skool email address, to www.dailyseller.co for access verification. DailySeller uses Stripe to provide checkout, subscription management and entitlement verification. Payment details entered on Stripe's hosted pages are governed by Stripe's privacy practices.

The popup contains an optional link to the DailySeller community hosted by Skool. No extension data is sent to Skool merely because the link is displayed. For eligible members, Skool and Zapier may process the member's name and email address to create or revoke included access. Their services are governed by their own privacy practices.

DailySeller does not sell personal information and does not include advertising trackers in the extension.

Permissions

User choices and deletion

Users can disable the extension on the current page, clear cached images, remove the saved licence, clear saved Shopify credentials or uninstall the extension. Clearing credentials removes the saved store domain, client ID and client secret from Chrome extension storage. Removing a licence from Chrome does not itself cancel a paid Stripe subscription; subscribers can use Manage subscription in the popup to manage or cancel billing. Uninstalling the extension removes its locally stored data according to Chrome's normal extension-removal behaviour.

Users may contact DailySeller to request access to, correction of or deletion of account information, subject to information that must be retained for legal or transaction-record purposes.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the extension's functionality or data practices change. The effective date at the top of the policy will be updated when material changes are made.
